A&K Equity Membership

The A&K Residence Club is not your typical destination club. A&K Residence Club is the largest equity-based club in the destination club industry. Unlike non-equity clubs, A&K Residence Club members own the club and have direct input into how club resources are used. All the residences are owned debt-free. A&K manages the club on the members' behalf.

Membership Levels

The Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club currently offers three categories of equity memberships, each one tailored to fit the needs and lifestyles of their Members. The three levels of membership available from A&K provide either 15, 30 or 45 nights of vacations each year.

A&K Residence Club 2009 Member Survey

The results are in from A&K Residence Club 2009 member survey: In the annual member survey, 97% of the membership reported complete satisfaction with Club offerings and service, including their personal Global Experience Manager and on-site Destination Hosts. Additionally, nearly one third of the members recently upgraded their membership plans to increase the number of travel days and benefits. (The Global Experience Managers help members with their reservations and vacation planning. Destination Hosts in each home location act as local concierges to assist members while on vacation.)

Members voted Hale Pu'uhonua on the big island, Hawaii as the best home of 2009, Located a short distance from the ocean swells and white sand beaches of Hawaii's big island, Hale Pu'uhonua is a spacious four-bedroom island getaway located in the Mauna Lani Resort on the Kohala Coast. Part of the prestigious Champion Ridge subdivision, the residence is part of the only residential development in Hawaii designed around an 18-hole putting course.  

Perfect for large groups of family and friends, it boasts separate entrances to each suite as well as an epicurean kitchen, heated pool, outdoor shower and fully-equipped theater room. Upscale island decor, including thatched ceilings and mahogany trim throughout, sets the mood for a relaxing vacation in one of the Big Island's sunniest and most beautiful areas.  

Marco Hernandez, destination host in Los Cabos, Mexico was voted the Best Host of 2009. Members cited his attentive service, "can-do" attitude and availability to assist members with dining reservations. He anticipates the needs of each family, preparing the home with personalized amenities including an authentic Mexican welcome with a pitcher of Margaritas, homemade Pico de Gallo and Guacamole on arrival. Club member Allen Willis wrote, "He is very knowledgeable about the area and always ready to make our experience something special. All the little things that arise when traveling with a large group are always taken care of with a 'not a problem, no big deal' attitude."  

Membership Pricing

Membership options available include 15, 30 and 45 vacation days per year with cost ranging from $145,000 to $320,000 to join.
